Explore Banaras began in 2021—not as a business idea, but as a heartfelt extension of our home. What started as simply hosting travelers at our family homestay quickly grew into something deeper. Guests would often ask us, “Where should we go to truly feel Banaras?” That question led us down a path we were already walking—preserving, celebrating, and sharing the soul of our city.

We are a family-run initiative rooted in Banaras for over 75 years. I was born and raised in this city, as were my sisters, and now my wife and I carry forward that legacy. Today, the entire family is involved—welcoming guests, curating local experiences, and ensuring each traveler leaves with stories and connections, not just photographs.

Our vision is simple: to help visitors explore the real Banaras—its warmth, its rituals, its food, its ghats, and its hidden lanes—with the same love and respect we have grown up with.
