ExploreBanaras.in offers curated travel experiences in and around Varanasi, including walking tours, day trips, homestay bookings, and handcrafted local products. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service without prior notice.

 

3. Booking & Payments

  • All bookings must be made in advance through our website or authorized partners.

  • Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.

  • We accept various payment methods as listed on our website.

4. User Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow travellers, guides, hosts, and local communities. Any offensive, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviour may result in cancellation of your booking without a refund.

 

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—text, images, videos, logos, and guides—is the intellectual property of Explore Banaras unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without written permission.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

Explore Banaras is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during participation in our tours or experiences unless required by Indian law. We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, strikes, or natural calamities.

 

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

 

8. Use of AI-Generated Content

Some of the content on ExploreBanaras.in—including text, images, itineraries, and illustrations—may be generated or enhanced using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. We use AI ethically to enrich the user experience, ensure accuracy, and present the cultural and historical narratives of Banaras in a compelling way.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Here’s our clear and fair cancellation policy:

 

Cancellation Timeframe & Refunds

Full Refund
Cancel 72 hours or more before your scheduled experience — 100% refund

 

Partial Refund
Cancel between 48 to 72 hours before the tour — 50% refund

 

No Refund
Cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled experience — no refund
No refund for cancellations due to personal issues (e.g., illness, missed transport, etc.)

 

Exceptions (Full Refund Granted)

  • If we cancel a tour due to force majeure events such as extreme weather, strikes, or local disturbances.

  • If safety conditions make it unfeasible to conduct the experience as planned.

How to Cancel

To cancel your booking and request a refund:

Include your booking reference number and a clear request for cancellation.

 

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be initiated within 7 business days of cancellation confirmation.

  • The amount will be credited back to your original payment method.
